Our Vision

Jesus isn't coming back for a denomination or a culture or a business disguised as a ministry. He is coming back for His Bride, pure, on fire, watching and ready.

Our Church Vision

Jesus isn't coming back for a denomination or a culture or a business disguised as a ministry. He is coming back for His Bride, pure, on fire, watching and ready. So why are we playing church, while souls are crying for help, entering eternity daily.

We've traded the altar for a set of rules, quenched the spirit for a schedule and overlooked the broken for the beautiful.

Churches are more like clubs than hospitals. If you don't took the part, act the part, or dress the part, you're not welcome. All in the name of protecting the next generation or a culture. But Jesus didn't come for one generation. He died for people "all people" the addiets, the angry, the abused, the abandoned, the ones with questions, the ones with a history, the one still struggling on a Saturday night but hungry for grace on sunday morning.

Here's the truth, if your church is too holy to welcome sinners, it's too fake to carry revival.

Revival doesn't come when you build a perfect congregation, it comes when you make room for a desperate one and lead them to the cross, even the angels in Heaven rejoice, that's revival. Stop trying to sanitize what Jesus came to redeem, stop trimming the guest list to impress the regulars, we're not protectors at the door of grace, we are beggars pointing the lost to the broken body of Christ and the shed blood of Jesus.

You want revival, then open your doors to everyone and remember you will never look into the eyes of anyone that Jesus doesn't love. Open your heart to the one that gave His life for you, always being mindful that He sat with the least. Jesus isn't coming back for a denomination or a culture, He is coming back for His Bride. Let's not relax with the ninety-nine, let's go looking for the one that is lost.

Our Core Beliefs

Living Waters Church exists to honor God by being faithful to His Word and carrying out the mission He gave His people. At its core, the purpose can be summed up in several key points:

  1. Worship God - To glorify and exalt the Lord through prayer, praise, preaching, and obedience (John 4: 23-24)
  2. Preach and teach the Word -To faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teach the whole counsel of God as found in scripture. (2nd Timothy 4:2; Acts 20:27)
  3. Make Disciples - To obey the Great Commission by evangelizing the lost and nurturing believers toward maturity in Christ. (Matthew 28: 19-20)
  4. Fellowship of Believers - To provide a loving, Christ centered community where believers can encourage one another and grow together. (Hebrews 10: 24-25)
  5. Serve Others- To show Christ's love through acts of service, charity and compassion both within the church family and to the wider world. (Galatians 6:10;
  6. James 1:27)
  7. Guard the Truth - To contend for the faith, defend sound doctrine, and reject false teaching (Jude 3;1s Timothy 3:15)

Our Church Covenant

Having been born again by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and having confessed our faith before others, we do in the presence of God and this Church enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

We will endeavor to walk in the spirit manifesting Christ like love, rejoicing with each other and bearing each other's burdens and sorrows, exercising care for each other and admonishing and encouraging one another, and praying for one another.

We will endeavor to make disciples of Jesus Christ, to participate in public worship and the ordinances, to support the Church's doctrines and disciplines, to contribute to the support of this ministry with our time, money and talents, including caring for the poor and in spreading the Gospel in keeping with Scripture.

We will seek the salvation of our family, friends, and those whom the Lord brings into our sphere of influence. We will endeavor to be an example of Christ to those under our care, nurturing and encouraging them to be fully developed followers of Christ.

We will remember that we have been called to live a new and holy life, putting off those things that displease and dishonor God, and putting on that which honors God and promotes personal holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24)
